Euh if you look closely, not at all it is closer from a VPP than a trek, I agree on the way it looks but it's not a full floater like th trek, the lower part is attached next to the bottom bracket

Price in France (It's a french fork) for the pro model, the one pictured above is 1900€, that's close to the retail price of a fox 40. But i guess with the currency rate € vs $ it would be arround 2500 US $.
